You don’t see many radio ads in portfolios, but I’m proud to have this one in mine. I made it in my room with a few sounds and a simple idea, and I think it holds its own next to ads with much bigger budgets.

An ATM withdrawal. A bird taking flight. A man shouting, “Catch it! Catch it!”

There’s a familiar Egyptian expression about how quickly your salary “flies away.” I took it literally. Through sound alone, you can picture someone’s money escaping just as they’ve withdrawn it. It’s a ridiculous scene, but the feeling is pretty familiar.

The solution came from the same thought: if your salary flies away, tie it to a savings circle. That’s where MoneyFellows comes in, helping you commit your money to something you’re saving for. One familiar expression gave me the scene, the joke and the line that brought it all together.
